Matt Brouwer is an artist for whom the trappings of fame and stardom have
begun to mean very little. He has discovered more important things to say,
with an outlook that is both spiritual and humanitarian. It is with great
pleasure that we announce Matt's ongoing involvement with New Beginning
Resources Inc, and the construction of a school in the mountain village of
San Pedro Jacopilas, Guatemala.This remarkable experience in Central America
was crucial in Matt's writing and recording his current album, Unlearning.
Fresh back from his latest trip to San Pedro, Matt shares with audiences
that the story continues as classes are set to begin at the fledgling school
within the year, a reality that began as a dream only 3 years ago and with
the potential to change the light of the village inhabitants.
