The Jokers Wild Band has broken in to the top 100
The Jokers Wild Band has broken in to the top 100 on
the Music Row Country Breakout Chart! "Please Catch Me" is at Number
98."Please Catch Me," Jokers Wild's second single from
their upcoming From Texas With Love cd, is an up-tempo country
tune and was written by co-producer and keyboardist Buck Aaron Thomas
and lead guitarist Gary Wayne Zaiontz. "If you are so totally in love
with that special somebody that they take your breath away every time
they enter the room, then this is your song!" says Buck.
Vin Lamar Participates in Triathlon
Vin Lamar recently participated in the Venice Triathlon, his first attempt at
a triathlon, where he did a 1/4 mile swim, a 10 mile bike ride, and a 3.1 mile
run. While he did not finish in the lead, he did finish! "I wasn't the last
guy out of the water, but I think there may have been some women out of the
water before me," jokes Vin. "That plus the fact that I was on a slower bike,
I was seeing and chasing women all morning!
MTV Welcomes Jokers Wild to their Catalogue
T he Jokers Wild Band has been added to MTV's
licensing catalog! The band was selected during a contest hosted
by Music Gorilla, an Austin based A&R hub. "And the Rain" and
"Please Catch Me" are now in the mix for commercials and movies,
along with some of today's most popular artists of all genres.
Jokers Wild Band to Perform for Soldier's Angels
The
Jokers Wild Band will be headlining a Soldiers' Angels benefit
concert this Thursday, August 2,
from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM, for over 500 wounded US Soldiers, to
be held at Brooke Army Medical Center (Fisher House), in Fort Sam
Houston, Texas.
