Posted by radiogetswild on (1400 views)
Vin LamarVin Lamar recently participated in the Venice Triathlon, his first attempt at a triathlon, where he did a 1/4 mile swim, a 10 mile bike ride, and a 3.1 mile run.  While he did not finish in the lead, he did finish!  "I wasn't the last guy out of the water, but I think there may have been some women out of the water before me," jokes Vin.  "That plus the fact that I was on a slower bike, I was seeing and chasing women all morning!

Vin Lamar's current single is "Parchment Paper".  "Parchment Paper" is about inner love and how it keeps you going forward when nothing else will. Vin chose to release "Parchment Paper" as a single because "it comes from my very core.  I want to put out to the world the essence of who I am and see what happens," he says.  "Parchment Paper has helped me release the pain of the past and move forward."

The Vin Lamar musical style is considered to be somewhere between Americana, Alternative, Country and Pop. As a singer/songwriter, Vin has the ability to express and define certain chosen moments when life hands you challenges and obstacles. Yet, without missing a beat, Vin can cleaverly embrace the amusing and lighter side of life in lighthearted and humorous offerings of the pen. Vin addresses the full gambit of life's emotions filled with painful decisions as well as moments when you are able to laugh at yourself.

Vin Lamar joined forces with legendary music producer, Neal James, to produce his debut self-titled cd. The Vin Lamar CD was released on Aladdin Recordings and is currently available on CDBaby.
