Greetings Everyone and Best Wishes for a very Happy Summer!
Today is officially the first day of Summer and here at Poplars everything is
blooming profusely including the critters…Mrs. Turkey has had seven babies this
year…can you imagine having seven kids all at the same time? Yikes! Mrs. Bambi
and Baby Bambi have been hanging out at the pond and Mrs. Raccy has decided to stay…that is until she gets her first rent bill! And finally Wild Kitty and her
boyfriend have gone on an adventure….that should cut down on pet food expenses
for a while!
I’ve got some lovely concerts coming up this July such as:

July 6…Little Church In Avonbank…. Avonbank, ON…tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling EV Scott at 519-284-2424 or emailing her at evscott@sympatico.ca
July 27…The London Music Club…470 Colborne St., London, ON…. tickets are $5 at the door www.londonmusicclub.com
I will be performing these concerts with my new partner multi-instrumentalist, Jake Lévesque. Jake plays piano, guitar, and bass and is also a fine singer/songwriter. When Jake and I play together…. Sparks Fly!
I just received my second International Royalty Check…. I thought the first one was a novelty but I’m thrilled to see that it is not…here is a list of countries that are playing my music and I want to send them a great big THANK YOU!
Israel, Latvia, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Senegal, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Trinidad, Philippines, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Denmark, Korea, Lithuania, Mauritius, China, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, South Africa, Colombia, Chile, Spain, Italy, Slovak Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Brazil and Poland.
The new CD has received some fabulous reviews from all across Canada and I have taken excerpts from them and posted them on the Acclaim Page of my web site.
The radio campaign has gone very well and as a matter of fact “Love Is All There Is†was number 7 on the Jazz chart on CHLY 107.7 in Nanaimo BC and number 8 on the Folk/Roots/Blues Chart on CILU in Thunder Bay, ON. Needless to say I am more than happy. I have also gotten fabulous airplay from other stations and I have posted them on the news page of my web site.
Well that’s it for now and I do hope all of you have a warm and fun filled summer!!
