Lisbeth Scott, the soloist and co-lyricist for the influential and inspiring hit film "The Passion of the Christ", has released her newest CD "Passionate Voice". With the original music she brings to her latest solo CD, Lisbeth creates styles and sentiments that both move and mesmerize.

"Passionate Voice" is all about spirit and will soothe and uplift every cell of your being. Produced by Lisbeth and the talented Nathan Barr (cellos, guitars, bol bol, ocarina), the music on this recording is a tapestry of textures and sounds. Greg Ellis (percussion), Chris Bleth (duduk), Bernie Locker (guitars) and Dan Lutz (Bass) graced the music with their presence and help make this CD "... nothing short of a holy experience" according to New Age Retailer.

Lisbeth's newest recording "Passionate Voice" follows her work with composer John Debney as a soloist and co-lyricist on the monumental film "The Passion of The Christ", the soundtrack for which she recently garnered her 1st gold record. One of Hollywood's most in-demand session vocalists, Lisbeth's singing voice has been enjoyed by millions in hit films and TV shows including Touch By An Angel.

Lisbeth Scott is a singer/songwriter from Topanga, California. She studied classical piano intensely for 20 years and then discovered her voice. Soon after, she headed west to the sun, sand, and the center of the music scene. Along the way she picked up percussion and guitar and a singer/songwriter was born.

After moving to LA, Lisbeth soon became one of the most sought after session singers in town, working with films' top names such as Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, John Debney, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Powell, and Mark Mothersba to name a few. Her unique style and sound can be heard on 100s of films and television shows.

At the same time Lisbeth's film career was taking off, she began recording and releasing her own material on her own label, Zone Records. Her first CD Sirens was followed by Climb and both received critical acclaim, copious television use and radio play. With her next CD Dove, Lisbeth used players from the Seattle Symphony and for the first time had the honor of working with Abbey Road Head Engineer Peter Cobbin. This was the beginning of a long partnership. Peter continues to work his magic of Lisbeth's work.

In 2000, Lisbeth had the fantastic opportunity of working as a featured vocalist and lyricist for the Windham Hill artist Paul Schwartz. Scott has been featured on three of Paul's recordings, State of Grace, Earthbound and State of Grace II which spent 10 weeks in Billboards' Top 10.
