Four years after her masterpiece Hounds of Love, Ms. Bush kept the creative fires burning without falling prey to the unsuccessful follow up syndrome many artists face after reaching a zenith in the recording process. She picked up where she left off and Sensual World remains one of her greatest accomplishments to date. The musical maturity on the recording is evident from the opening title track throughout the entire run of the album. Kate takes the subject of love and turns it into a story that comes alive on both sides of the LP.

Once again her voice took charge epitomizing the title of the album by using poignant vocalizations set to an art rock backdrop provided by such artists as David Gilmour on “Love and Anger".
