Alex Rosselli Releases Indie Instrumental Rock Fusion CD 2012
Rome, Italy-February 1, 2008- Alex Rosselli continues to release new material on regular basis. With 2012, his sixth album, he has reached a level of competency with his guitar that few ever achieve.
2012 is a concept album revolving around the Mayan Calendar, time acceleration, personal and planetary changes, DNA upgrades, UFOs, shift to 4th and 5th dimension, the Ascension, and the synchronization of earth with the universe. Heady stuff to be sure and although many would consider it as esoteric subject matter, Rosselli nevertheless builds his instrumental rock-progressive-psychedelic-fusion tracks around these subjects with certainty.
Alex Rosselli has been emerging for a few years now and certainly now with 2012 he makes the last five albums he released look as if he used them as a foundation and springboard into the next level that he reached on the new session. Citing legendary guitar players such as Hendrix is no secret; he openly acknowledges his influences and uses them as inspiration to create his own pieces of music. Alex labored for nearly a year before 2012 was complete. There were many experimental takes before the finished product took form and was ready for mastering. Alex created different sounds utilizing a MIDI guitar with Yamaha MU100 tone generator (strings, effects, bass, and sitar) and the Electro Harmonix Micro Synthesizer.
2012 will get some attention and international acclaim as time passes thanks to the news traveling the speed of light on the internet. The music of Alex Rosselli does not have words but the language of his guitar is global in scope and easily translated by any listener.
