I have always been interested in Radio since about the age of 3 when I listened constantly to one of them old valve radios. I imagined there was real little people inside making the music.

Then in my twenties (hard to remember that far back) I discovered hospital radio, and worked as a volunteer deejay at Whipps Cross Radio in East London for about 15 years, which I greatly enjoyed.

Meeting people around the wards and taking requests. One of the best bits was the "tuck you in at night service", where the male deejays would go round the wards tucking in the female patients and vice versa. And yes, we did get in a bit of trouble with the ward sisters...

Then I moved to Norfolk, got married, got divorced, discovered the Internet, and decided it was great fun making websites. That's where I met our Founder Tim, and we eventually started working together on building Radio Gets Wild. After much tearing out of hair, banging heads against wall, and of course a whole lot of fun in between, we now have the Community site you see today.

We have made heaps of new friends, and are always busy trying to make the site bigger and better, and adding exciting new stuff.
