Kin Za Za Siren Hits #2 on Top Airplay Chart for 2003

Award-winning ambient-world pop duo Kin Za Za capped a busy year for their debut CD "Number One In Shambala" with #2 rankings on two separate Top Airplay Chart for 2003. The album placed #2 on the New Age Music portal NewAgeReporter.com Top 100 Recordings of 2003, remaining 2 months in the Top 10 and an additional 5 months on the chart. "Number One In Shambala" also ranked #2 on WCH Radio's TOP 25 songs for 2003, where it remains in heavy rotation.

At the heart of the duo's succes is the mesmirizing voice of singer Jozy. "I'm passionate about originality in music creation being a force for good," commented Jozy. "My desire is that Kin Za Za sounds inspire sudden wellsprings of inspiration in listeners, urging them to swim 'The River'."

Kin Za Za's music video "The River" was selected last year by the Indepedent Music Video Festival and premiered on Europe largest music video webcaster MusicBrigade where it reached #4 position on MusicBrigade's Top 40 Videos, beating out major acts like Enrique Iglesias, Atomic Kitten and Kylie Minogue.

Filming her first short film on super8 "Remarkable bodies" in 1990 and serving as teacher/choreographer for "EviDance" dance company in 1991, Jozy founded an acrobatic dance group "Dance of Digital Underground" in 1994. Her first work in the music industry came as a singer for a TV live show " La Fureur" (Radio Canada CBC), eventually leading to touring the U.K with experimental show "COKE" as a dancer/singer in 2000. Jozy has been honoured with several awards since the beginning of her music career including first prize at Granby International Song Festival 1995.

Kin Za Za is presently preparing their first single for their upcoming CD/DVD multimedia project scheduled to be released this spring.
