Listening to Internet Radio in Cars Becomes Reality!
Aside from the problems Internet radio has
been having in regards to the outrageous royalty fees, some great news
just came out today.
Our Internet Broadcast Provider, Live365.com just rolled out a new
download called, "Radio365-Mobile". Their giving a select group of Live365
members a chance to "test drive" it. The new download enables listeners to
finally listen to their favourite Internet radio stations in their car.
All they need to access it is a mobile phone.
They're currently testing on the following devices;
Palm Treo 700W (Windows Mobile 5, Verizon)
Samsung BlackJack (Windows Mobile 5, Cingular)
Samsung i730 (Windows Mobile 5, Verizon)
One recommendation the make is they have Windows Mobile 5 or 6, at least 3 MB free disk space on device or on storage card and an Unlimited data plan. The mentioned on their website that, "you'll be streaming a lot and we don't want any nasty surprises when your phone bill comes!"
This is just one of many innovations that I'm very excited about. The opportunity to broadcast with the big boys makes me very ambitious.
