Greetings Everyone and a VERY Happy Summer Solstice to all of you!

Today is the longest day of the year so be sure to enjoy every minute of it for tomorrow the days start getting shorter and we all know what that means but I won’t mention the W word especially since summer is just beginning.

I am happy to report that the recording of the new CD is finally finished and it is now being mixed. Some of you already know, but for those of you who don’t, this CD will be released at The Stratford Festival Of Canada on Monday, August 28,2006 during a concert being held in the Marquee starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 dollars and can be purchased by calling the Festival Box Office at 1-800-567-1600 or by visiting www.stratfordfestival.ca The last time I played the Festival I was thrilled that my concert sold out so if any of you are thinking of coming to this one, I would like to suggest that you purchase your ticket soon.

I am also excited to tell you that this performance is being filmed for a future DVD release.

Before the August concert though I will be doing a couple of other performances at Chapters. The first one is on July 7 in St.Catharines on Geneva St. at the new Fairview Mall and the second one is in Ancaster on Golf Links Road. Both these performances start at 7 pm and are free. Chapters is one of my distributors and I find that doing these in store performances really help to sell CDs.If you are in the area, please drop by to say hi.

I am extremely pleased to tell you that I received my very first International Royalty Check from Socan, which is (for those of you who don’t know) the performing rights organization that collects money for writers, composers and publishers. These royalties were for commercial radio airplay in the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, United States, Singapore,

Netherlands, Japan, Denmark, Korea, Malaysia, United Kingdom,

France, Argentina, Chile, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Switzerland. Needless to say, I am thrilled that my debut CD “The Heart And The Mind” is still

getting attention.
