Walkers gathered pledges prior to the walk and raised money based on how far they walked and the amount pledged per km. Fog shrouded the seaside location in which the Mission San Buena Ventura built in 1782 provided a historic and beautyful backdrop. A BBQ was served to all after completing the walk and and prizes awarded that included the most money raised by a walker which was aprox $1000.00.
