capability to search for and access live and on-demand audio content from mobile
devices. The North Carolina-based company today announced that it has acquired
Nashville, Tennessee-based and privately held XSVoice, a leading provider of
mobile streaming technology to premier entertainment and news outlets including
ESPN Radio, Fox News and more than 100 music and entertainment channels. XSVoice
also streams the content for “In Car Audio of NASCAR Drivers,†currently
available only for Sprint and Nextel subscribers. The total stock and cash
consideration to be paid is approximately $6.3 million.
