peter Published on: 6 Jan 2007 "Playing with time" is Sifu Stephen Doe's second Demo CD. Stephen plays all instruments himself, but the guitar is his main instrument. This shredder from Manchester, NH composed and recorded all his music by himself, which I think is a cool thing to do.

But remember, this is still a Demo, you can not compare it to a recording in a real professional studio. The sound is OK and as a composer Stephen has written some great songs. The songs Con-fusion and Myself reflection are beautiful, he can be very proud of written those songs. Changing moods in the songs, but still being one solid composition. His guitar playing is very strong, with a very good technique. If you like players like Vinnie Moore or Greg Howe, you'd better check this guy out. I hope Stephen gets the chance to get signed by a record label, he certainly deserves it. His compositions are very good, so give this guy a chance. If he gets this chance, I know we will hear a lot more about this great player. Bruno February 14th, 2007 The tunes are very very good, unlike many guitarists around you have an excellent mastering of the instrument and musical taste. My favorite is My Self Reflection, it sounds very fresh overall in the way the song develops through theme changes and in many parts it throws you straight back to the 80's and also it features very good ideas and the guitar sound is perfect. Great vibe man
