In time I will be creating a tutorial movie on how to, so you can  watch how to submit a video

How Do I use the Video Showcase

Welcome to the video showcase this is a place where you can submit 10 different types of video's and also includes MP3 and xml play lists of mp3's.

1. Choose The link at the top of the page Called Submit Video A pop up window with the submissions details will show see graphic <=.
2. Give the video a Title
3. Choose the Category you wish to place the video in.
4. Give a video a description
5. Copy paste in the full web url address example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL50ddCSJmo
6. Place the full web url address for the thumbnail and display graphic. There is two ways you can do this, 1. the graphic could be on your own server. 2. if you don't have a website upload the photo into your own photo gallery here on RGW and link in the full web address. (see bookmark in how to use the photo gallery)
7. Place in the height and width of the movie. This you can find on the you tube page and on most others . If really stuck and don't know choose 425 x 350 We will sort out the from there.
8. Plugin is the type of player you will need to view the movie with. i.e. for youtube choose the youtube player plugin.
9. Choose add video and the admin will approve within 24 hours.

You will be given a ftp account for the preview and thumbnail images.

So the address you will be placing will look like this images/video/yourpic.jpg The size of jpg should be no larger then below

Your will be shown how to make a screen capture and resize picture ready for uploading.

Once you are logged in as admin your will not need to wait for the video to be cleared. Once submitted it will show in the gallery straight away.

What videos can I submit and not submit

Categories: Any subject that is within the boundaries of whatever categories are present.

We will refuse any x rated adult, racist, hate, or anything we find graphical disturbing ..please bare in mind this is a G-Rated family station members do have children who like to visit this site. ALL MEMBER SUBMISSIONS ARE ON ADMIN APPROVAL ONLY.
