Hi Y'all...I'm DJ Hummer, a 60 year old, sometimes grumpy old rocker. I like almost every type of music. I play at home everything from classical to country. I've been with RGW for a little while and have played mainly a mix of old and new rock-n-roll. But a couple shows have been bluegrass.

In the real world, I've been disabled since 1991, from a heart attack. Before then I drove big trucks (long haul), was an electrician in
construction, and a host of other things in an attempt to put food on the table and a roof over the family's head. Unlike some, I have no fancy degrees, or titles. I'm just a blue collar guy, who done the best he can.

I enjoy playing with my computer. It keeps my off the streets, and out of too much trouble. I became a member of Radio Gets Wild in August of 2004.I found out I could play my tunes over the internet. So I applied and have been having fun doing so since with a month break.

when we moved from North Central Arkansas, to Berne, Indiana. Berne is a small town in North East Indiana, with a population of about 4,150. Berne was settled by the Swiss Mennonites, in 1852. Now it is the centre of commerce for many Amish. We share the streets and businesses with the "plain" people, and their horse and buggies. I like Berne because it is small enough to be fairly quiet, while being fairly close to Ft. Wayne, and a couple hours from Indianapolis. The biggest difference between Berne and N. Central Ar. is that there are no hills, and the roads are straight.
