Summer's here and the time is right, for dancing in the streets! Or something like that. It's hot as hell out, but you're not going to hear us freeze-babies complaining. Nooo way. We take solace in the kiddie pool, enjoy the warm summer breezes on the back yard hammock, and while we might bitch at the occasional fly attempting to partake of our margaritas, we will recall that not so long ago it was freezing and ya'll were bitching that you were cold. So, if you can't stand the heat get in front of your computer with a nice oscillating fan and see what we've got cooking at Score! Music Magazine!

If you don't find what you're looking for we've got more to offer on our Myspace page!

**Musicians and publicists, please read the "THE BAND/MUSICIAN AND PUBLICIST CORNER" section below for information regarding tracking of your reviews.

CYA and business mumbo-jumbo: The purpose of the newsletter is to update our readers as to the goings on at Score! Music while allowing us to share information with the bands we cover. If you're new to this newsletter, please notice that it is organized by section to enable fast access to pertinent information of interest to you. Also take note of the newsletter sponsors, which are offset for recognition. We encourage your patronage and/or visiting the websites of our sponsors. A vote for our sponsors is a vote for Score! Music. (Cuz they're the ones forkin' over the cash to help bring this lovely newsletter to you!)

What the Hell is a Podcast?

Think of it as underground radio. Remember the days of really cool college radio? All the hipsters were digging on R.E.M long before the rest of the populous knew who the hell they were? That's the general vibe of Podcasting. It's like public access...Wayne's World if you will, delivered via a downloadable MP3 file for listening on your own schedule! If you're not tapped into podcasting you're missing a whole new world of music, entertainment, education and voyeurism!

So when you hear us talking about Siren Rebellion, that's what we're talking about! And there's many ways (so easy a two-year old could tackle it) to feast your ears on the aural pleasures of the Score! Sirens. For everything you wanted to know about Podcasting, and how to get your mitts on the show, visit the Podcasting FAQs found at Siren Rebellion.com!

THE BAND/MUSICIAN AND PUBLICIST CORNER

Wondering if we've received your CD or if you're CD review/Article has been posted? Please refer to this newsletter, as it summarizes all of the newly added articles. In the alternative, you may check the "What's New" pull down menu on the main page of the website (www.scoremusicmagazine.com/score.shtml). Both of these items are updated on or about the 15th of each month. If your CD is not listed on this newsletter and/or the "What's New" section, either your review has yet to be completed (in which case, keep watching the site and this newsletter the 15th of each month but don't hold your breath) or you haven't been paying attention. Either way, you are welcome to use our handy search engine, to query by artist and/or CD title, to see if you missed the announcement. (http://www.scoremusicmagazine.com/search.shtml). Please save our sanity and search before emailing us.

PACKAGES ARRIVED: Circus Diablo, Alexx Calise, Tesla, Blackberry River Band, See (it) Through, Monsterinthemachine, William Steffey, and other stuff currently being used as pillows by the greyhounds.

If you've followed all of the above instructions for tracking your CD/Review, but your search was less than fruitful, you can send an email to us at info@scoremusicmagazine.com. However, please ONLY EMAIL US AS A LAST RESORT and indicate that you've tried and simply couldn't find it. We receive far too many CDs each month and would much rather use our time to review your CDs instead of playing "where's my review" with every band. Thank you from the way over-worked Sirens ;) (and Dang it, that's what this newsletter is for! - Do we need to continue driving this point home? Cuz we will!)

To request a review please visit: http://www.scoremusicmagazine.com/reviewpolicy.shtml

We've just realized that spring seemed to pass us by in a flurry and we're concerned that Summer will do the same. We're doing out best to enjoy it, regardless of renovations, yard work and other duties, and we hope you are too. Pass the cerveza!
