The time hit 9.15pm in the city of Norwich at the venue called The Water Front, many hundreds of Blues fans waiting patently in an air that was totally buzzing pure excitement of what was yet to come. For those people who had never experienced the Walter Trout Blues was about to have minds altered for life within the walls of this totally packed sell-out UK tour. When I say for those people I am referring to myself, as so for you that is reading this review you will reading a first hand experience of an artist and band that blew the roof of the waterfront with chants of audience wanting more.

Walter Trout & The Radicals (Sammy Avila Keyboards, Joe Pafumi Drums, Rick Knapp Bass ) entered the stage and from that moment, they took complete control with both communication with the audience and music. Incredible guitar work and Bass keyboard and drums grabbed  hold and lifted the spirits of the audience to an incredible level of pure joy and excitement. During the concert  I was also hearing members of the audience saying to their friends that they had brought to the concert "know you know what a real guitar player sounds like and why this cant ever be missed" as their friends just stood there in total ore.

I was one of the lucky guys with a photo pass to stand in the front of the metal frame work watching the guys just inches away. What Walter did with that guitar and the way it was being played I have never seen anything like it ever. He made sounds flow at an un-precedented rate of speed and made a guitar sounds come out like you was listen to an organ playing. Being so close I could see his fingers working the strings plucking twanging and doing stuff you never dreamed off doing. If for any young or older person who wants an inspiration into playing music this has got to be it. (once seen hooked for life)

Each of the band members took it in turn to do there own solo party piece The drum Solo from Joe Pafumi was just beaten out so fast with drum sticks flying through the air and never missing a single beat, not even when one of the sticks hit the light rigging above, just had the audience screaming and begging for more. Keyboard player Sammy Avila played and sung much to the enjoyment of everyone and receiving chants and cheers from all around. What was inspirational was that Walter and band members also gave plenty of chance for up and coming indie artists to sing and play along by there side on the night.

There was old tracks as well as all the new from the Album release Full Circle, every single track played just wound up the people into a frenzy as the night went on. What totally impressed me most was at the end of the night Walter said if you stick around we will come and and talk to you an sign autographs. True to form they come out and with smiles and pure showmanship professionalism. Their wonderful down to earth attitude and the fact they took time to chat with as many people as they possibly could was truly a rewarding and inspirational pleasure.

These are the people that give a good name to the Music Entertainment Industry who lead the way for all other artists to follow, and will always remain written and sealed in the musical history books of the world. The Music guitar and drum manufacture orders are going to rocket through the roof by all those inspired.

Radio Gets Wild presents Walter Trout and the Radicals with Gold Award for most outstanding concert and breathtaking album for 2006 many congratulations to them all
