RUSTIE BLUE IN THE RUNNING FOR 2 MUSIC BOX AWARDS
Rustie Blue is in the Top 20 for the 2006 Music Box Country Rising Artist and
Outgoing Artist Awards! Winners will be announced in November or December in a
theatre in Paris, France. Winners will be chosen by votes from fans (80%) and
the industry (20%). Fans can vote at www.musicboxtv.com under Le Top Twenty,
choosing Rustie on two the drop down boxes near the top of then page above the
charts, then clicking Voter.Rustie's current single from Chip Chip is titled "Oh Baby." "Oh Baby,"
written by Richard Fagan and Buffy Lawson, has a similar feel to "Sold" (also
written by Fagan). Rustie Blue said that "the first time I tried to record it, I
got tongue tied and just started laughing." "Oh Baby" can also be found on CDX
#392, CHi HotDisc #87, and M-T-M comp #16.
