Didgeridoo Trance Dance 2
World-Beat Ethno-Fusion: Tribal Rhythms With Organic Groove And Modern Remixes - A New Compilation By Music Mosaic

Music Mosaic, the "World-Fusion Music" label, based in Australia, is being lauded with accolades for creating fresh new collections of World Beat and Tribal Groove music at an amazing rate. Since it's launch in September 2001, Music Mosaic has produced twenty significant albums.

Following the success of its previous compilation, Music Mosaic presents Didgeridoo Trance Dance 2, with uplifting high-energy music by grand didgeridoo players from around the world. Simply breathtaking! The dance-floor spiced with sensuality and raw power, musical stories of multicultural origins are arranged into modern sounds for the new generation of world music. These tracks blend cultural boundaries for an international 'feel good' album.

A Company With Vision:
Music Mosaic encourages all cultures and nations to live together respectfully on our planet Earth. You will hear multi-cultural musical expressions from diverse countries, yet the sounds flow together in harmony...like a beautiful mosaic! Voices from the East blend with music from the West and shape the heartbeat of mankind into the pulse of global harmony!

What a critic says:
"I'm about to just create a label saying "It's from Music Mosaic, buy it". It's as if these people can do no wrong. Releasing hit after World-Beat hit, these people have been scouring the globe to find the very best and they've done it time after time." - Jive Magazine

Female Dance And Pop/Rock Singer K8 Releases Her Latest New Single 'Splash!'

Female dance and rock-pop artist K8 releases her latest new single 'Splash!'. A guitar driven mainstream pop/rock song with a memorable chorus and a different edge that is the sound of K8. A great song! Listen now!

K8 has been recording and performing dance and pop/rock for about 4 years now and 'I Know It's You' was her debut single.

Starting her career with the club anthem (I Know It's You) she has every chance of doing just that!. 'I have got it and, if you've heard the song, you will know that it could be big!' The same could well be said of her follow up singles as well. Listen to this unique talent that transcends the musical boundaries of dance and rock/pop. Listen to K8 and enjoy.

Lee Lindsey to Launch Second Record, Above The Madding Crowd, at New Music West

Lee Lindsey will officially release her second album, Above the Madding Crowd through her bi-continental indie upstart Tall Poppy Records at the New Music West Conference on April 26, 2006.

Above the Madding Crowd is an eclectic folk and roots rock expression produced by session wizard and musical director, Jingles (Gabrielle, BB Mak)

"I wanted to sing from my soul on this record," says Lee. "I wanted to make a record that was real - real music, real heart, really me."

From the opening Celtic flute of "Brave," to the up-tempo strings of "Wild Child" and on to the gritty electric cry of the title track and deference to the famous Hardy novel, Above The Madding Crowd tells the universal tale of a small-town girl with big dreams and a permanent will. Soulful, Celtic string arrangements provide the right amount intimacy and emotion to tell the story just right.

It is indeed Lee's story that's being told in many ways on this record. Her life begins on the Ottawa River in Canada. She's traveled, modeled and performed around the world since leaving home at fifteen with a guitar on her back. At the time it was to escape a contentious relationship with her father and, like many before her, Lee didn't look back - until now... Two kids and a failed marriage later, Above The Madding Crowd explores this diverse, emotional terrain. It searches for and discovers Lee's self-worth, her talents and her voice as a woman and an artist.

Disc Makers Kicks Off 2006 Independent Music World Series With Bigger Prizes, Exposure For Indie Bands

Disc Makers, the nation's leading independent CD manufacturer, is kicking off the eleventh annual Independent Music World Series (IMWS), the biggest installment yet of the nation's longest running and most successful indie music showcase series. Over 5,000 bands are expected to enter the 2006 IMWS, and Disc Makers has sweetened this year's pot by boosting the total prize package to over $250,000 in cash and prizes.

Four regional IMWS winners each will claim a package that includes $5,000 cash, world-class gear from leading manufacturers, guaranteed slots in premier music conferences, and 40 hours of recording time in select studios.

The IMWS consists of four showcase events in four major U.S cities (2006 cities include Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Chicago). Each regional event features six bands or performers selected as finalists by the editors of Billboard Magazine. The six finalists compete for the grand prize in front of music industry professionals at some of the hottest live music venues in America.

"The Independent Music World Series is all about helping artists make it on their own," commented Tony van Veen, executive vice president at Disc Makers. "We're looking for the best original artists in the U.S. Unlike other events that reward just a great voice or a good song, the IMWS is about the whole package: originality, great songwriting, and the artist's on-stage performance. Between the opportunity to network and be noticed by industry insiders and win enough gear to outfit their own home studio, the showcase slots at the IMWS offer independent artists' careers a shot in the arm like no other opportunity today."
