The Cowboy Mounted
The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association held
a rodeo where celebrities teamed up with professional riders to raise money for
NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, Inc.).
The rodeo was held near Gaylord Opry Hotel
in Nashville, TN, on Nov. 12th. Skyla Spencer took part in the event shooting
two 45 pistols at balloons while riding a horse named Luke. She rode in two different courses shooting all
ten balloons in one, and missing only one balloon in the other course. Skyla
offically was inducted into the rodeo and will be participating in celebrity
competitions in the future. Skyla quotes, "It was a great time, and I am hooked
on the rodeo now."
When asked how she describes her music, Skyla replies “My music is fun,
energetic, & up-lifting. I love a
sense of humor, and that shows through on some of my songs. I also enjoy writing
ballads. Some of the songs on this album are from real life experiences, but
it’s through these experiences, either good or bad, that I have become stronger.
