3 Kisses Plays For Over 85,000 To Support Cancer Organizations

Since their inception in January 2004, 3 Kisses has had an altruistic mission to support breast cancer education, research and treatment programs. Says front woman, Tish Meeks, "When Tony and I started 3 Kisses, we wanted the music to be about more than just 'us'. We wanted to use our talents and abilities to serve our community and breast cancer hits close to home for both of us. I lost my mother to the disease in 1989 and Tony's mother and step-mother are both breast cancer survivors. Melissa and AJ both have friends and family members affected by breast cancer, as well. In fact, I know very few people who have not been impacted by it in one way or another."

In November 2004, 3 Kisses had the pleasure of playing the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Austin, TX for almost 20,000 race participants. "Our first release, Wings, wasn't out yet," says Tony, "so we brought about 300 demos. The runners mobbed us when Tish made the announcement that we were giving away demos. They were gone in about 30 seconds." The response from the race participants was so overwhelming that Entertainment Chair, Beverly Kassman, extended an invitation to 3 Kisses to perform at the 2005 event. Thanks to Beverly's and Volunteer Coordinator, Lisa Feller's recommendations, 3 Kisses was given the opportunity by Sonya De Hoyos to entertain close to 20,000 runners again at this year's race on November 6.

Free Download Of Song "Incurable" By Ella Blame And Shinji Imai

Singer/composer Ella Blame from Wisconsin and composer/multi-instrumentalist Shinji Imai a.k.a. "mode complex" from Japan who have collaborated since 2000 to create mind-blowing music of styles Psychedelic Pop, Psychedelic Dance, and Outer Space Symphonic Music, have decided to publish their newest song, "Incurable", in full length on the Internet as a high-quality MP3 file.

The song "Incurable" will be published in the fall of 2006 on Ella Blame's second CD titled "Slippery Slope".

With her vocal cords, Ella can produce sounds that most music experts consider having been generated by a synthesizer or by post-processing equipment. However, Ella can produce these "strange" sounds without using a microphone.

"In fact, it wouldn't be too much of an exaggeration to say that Blame's voice is to a normal person's voice as Robert Patrick's shape-shifting Terminator was to the stolidly anthropomorphic Schwartzenegger model ..." - Jon Sobel, Blogcritics.org
