BIO FROM Jean Claude Ades, born and raised in Italy and residing in Munich whilst being a steady regular in Ibiza, is a global player. Even though young JCA started as a pianist, he is a producer, DJ, remixer and songwriter at heart. After learning the piano from scratch, he went all the way to become a producer, using synthesizers, keyboards and computers alike to create his very own, distinctive sound. For the last ten years the 34-year old has been shaking and stirring the international dance scene with his remixes, productions and with his highly energetic DJ sets.

His influential early productions, for example “Shake That Ass”, “The Colour Of My Style”, “Everything I Do”, among others, opened the door to various major companies. Down to the present day, enthusiasts of house music around the world will remember the melody of his 2003 hit record “I Begin To Wonder” featuring Dannii Minogue which reached number 1 in the sales charts in Italy, 2 in the UK, 3 in France, 2 in Australia, and went top ten in several other countries. His remix of “Nightcrawlers – Push The Feeling On” made it on to the 1 spot of the Billboard Radio Dance Charts in the USA.

In 2005 Jean Claude Ades took the next logical step, and started his own label “Swings Records” after re-gaining his independence. Being his own A&R was paramount for him after being forced to create a certain “Jean Claude Ades Sound” for commercial reasons which was beyond for question him. Creating the perfect base for his own productions by being completely unrestricted, Jean Claude landed a hit with the first release on Swings straight away. His track “Someday”, featuring vocals by Niki Haris, a form Snap vocalist and background singer for Madonna, made it onto the playlists of countless global players in no time and subsequently became an immediate club anthem. Shortly after, his remix of the US number 1 hit “Pussycat Dolls feat. Busta Rhymes - Don’t Cha” attracted massive attention and skyrocketed to the top position of the Dance Charts. Almost simultaneously, his remix of the electro hit of the year 2005 “Coburn – We Interrupt This Program” was released on Swings Records followed by another smasher, “Fly Away ft. Rufus Martin”, which was eagerly snapped up by Ministry of Sound and became a massive club hit around the globe.

In 2006 he mixed the Kontor Top Of The Clubs Vol. 30 Compilation and the Ministry Of Sound Clubbers Guide To Ibiza 2006 which was swiftly followed by the compilation "Live Fast die Beautiful", released on his own label Swings Records, which of course features the best versions of his long list of already released club hits. Furthermore, Jean Claude was elected to be the exclusive DJ at the Giorgio Armani fashion show in Berlin as well as spinning at the Loveparade. His production and DJ style can best be described in the context of his music philosophy: “Music should sound global like a mix of styles from thirty different countries but still be harmonic”. This maxim manifests in his intoxicating dj-sets, where classic house beats meet contemporary electronic elements. Tried and tested sounds get twisted on the Pioneer CDJ 1000 and thus turn into something absolutely new and progressive – bass loaded electro gets fused with uplifting house, vocals with pumping bass drums -- all taking the crowd higher and higher until they get caught in breathtaking break-downs, gagging for the next drumbeat that will make them freak out and go apeshit.

These are the moments Jean Claude is living for. Proof that he is in great demand and a truly international DJ are his bookings at the best clubs and festivals around the world: Cocoon, Loveparade, Heineken Beach Festivals Taiwan and Hong Kong, Defcon Festival Melbourne, Embassy Club Manila, Zima, Osen, Leto, Fabrique,The Most Moscow, Retro Jakarta, Double Six Bali, MTV Battle of the DJs, MTV Designerama, MTV Parties in the Tunesian Dessert, MTV European Music Awards in Munich 2007 and Sirena, as well as Pacha in Brazil. And now his debut artist album, a musical journey produced and mixed by Jean Claude Ades, is about to drop! Finally! Is it aptly called, a homogenous, streamlined trip overflowing with joy. The album encompasses material from the last four years as well as special edits of the biggest releases, amongst them the huge mega hit “I Begin To Wonder” which charted all over Europe in 2003 and saw a highly successful remake with Dannii Minogue on the mike. It is now tweaked into a new “2008 Mix” which creates a huge hype as we speak, “Someday”, “Fly Away”, “Slap That Bitch , plus eight other brand new tracks, powerfully chanted by ex-Snap vocalist and Madonna background singer Niki Harris, and Tara Mc Donald, Armand van Helden’s top vocalist (My My My) who also stars in the new David Guetta (Delirious) single.

Re-introducing exotic vibes to the floor, Finally! stuns with its housey versatility and its eclectic vibes. Amongst the tracks: “African Voices” and “Shingaling“, which was written by Louie Ramirez in the 60s, and then recorded by Kako And His Orchestra. Being one of the greatest Cuban moments in time, it was rediscovered by JCA who resurrected the masterpiece in spring 2008. Just in time -- it became a huuuge hit and got licensed in all territories. Full-on and uncut, Finally! is a huge triumph that will certainly catapult the enormously talented, self-taught musician Jean Claude Ades into the limelight -- once again. Finally!
